The nightmare of Gen AI will soon end.
Extensive scientific research shows that continued Gen AI infrastructure is literally impossible due to the laws of physics.
The financial bubble will likely pop in 2027.
Model collapse means that Gen AI will soon no longer have good data to “train” on.
What will be left in the aftermath of Gen AI:
- Immense tech debt in the form of the code bases of most popular software being tainted by horrifically buggy AI slop code.
- An entire generation of children will have stunted cognitive development that will likely disable them. Gen AI is likely a factor in the mass phenomenon of teachers and parents these days saying kids can’t read, nor pay attention to something for more than five seconds. Their potential for critical thinking skills will also probably be severely damaged, to the extent of endangering them.
- An entire generation of young adults have found it nearly impossible to enter the workforce. Even if they have Masters’ degrees in science and technology areas. Even if they’ve lowered their expectations to fast food jobs. So the majority of young adults who don’t come from wealthy families will likely spend most of their lives in poverty. And there’s no “fresh blood” to climb the corporate ladder to replace workers who will inevitably retire and die.
- Much worsened climate disaster will keep on killing more and more people worldwide, through heatwaves, hurricanes, and other natural disasters. Most of Western Europe is experiencing deadly heat like they’ve never seen. And the Earth’s fresh water supply is also being obliterated.
What can we expect in the immediate future?
That’s what I’m set to find out.
I will interview many of the world’s leading psychologists, sociologists, economists, engineers, cognitive science researchers, environmentalists, and computer scientists to get their insights.
I will also analyze a large amount of research from both old-fashioned analogue and digital sources.
